I think everyone needs to take a step back and relax here. No need to get in each other's faces.

Yes indeed you are. You simply can't handle constructive criticism without turning to insults yourself. Grow up and learn. I'm out.

Well I don't want to get banned...but here goes.

I've had good luck with Washougal 9mm, but only with my Glocks. It was "Malfunction Training" ammo with my old Kimber Solo. FTF, FTE, you name it. I don't know how much weaker the firing pin/striker energy is in a Solo but it's enough to make a difference.

I've only been in the River Road shop once. He couldn't beat Brad's pricing (and if it did it wasn't enough to notice) which is the standard for the Washougal stuff around these parts. Brown Box had some .45/70 reloads but the brass cases were strange...had a rough "anodized" texture that I couldn't explain. Felt almost like spray painted zinc. I passed since I had a pile of PIF ammo I won right here on WaGuns.

IME Washougal 9mm is great training ammo. It will fail in unreliable guns which is kind of a nice thing to suss out. I wouldn't depend my life on it and if I shot competitions it wouldn't be my choice. But if your gun will shoot their 115gr reloads fine it'll probably fire anything.

Yesterday I took my 300 out with the box of new noveske subsonic that I bought from BBAG. All 20 rounds ran flawlessly.

I also had 50 rounds of 125gn washougal left from the five 50 round boxes I bought right after I built my 300. The first four boxes ran fine this spring, the last box I used yesterday kept short cycling and was unreliable.

The 9mm washougal ran fine although I did get a two feed problems. I think the cartridge length was a little off.

For now I'll still buy the 9mm. I'm done with the 300, I don't think they are consistent enough.

All this has been good motivation to get my reloading setup finished.

You blew up two guns?! What were your thoughts when you blew the first one up? Well besides being pissed off. Were you apprehensive shooting your other gun before it blew up? You gotta throw some pics of th3 carnage.

I bought some of the 9mm and I ran into too many problems with shooting it out of a Glock and a cz that I won't buy any more.

The moving parts in my 34 and 26 are completely stock. My Solo didn't like the Washougal primers and had problems cycling, but 115gr standard pressure is a known problem with those mini Kimbers. It did fine with Pow'r Ball 100gr +P so it's not just the light bullet weight. It was quite a nice flamethrower with that ammo.

Totally stock. I got light primer strikes, but would fire a second time around and a couple stove pipes.

Perhaps their QC isn't up to snuff. I have a friend that is a Master class shooter and relies on their ammo for his matches. It's been interesting reading everyone's experiences.
