Ordered some vltor parts from SKD tactical and they shipped the order USPS priority. It was being shipped out of MO but for some weird reason USPS decided to overnight my package to Hawaii...
Now instead of getting my package within 3 days the package has been vacationing in Hawaii and now "in route to destination". Hopefully it had a nice break and will show up within this week.
Seriously though out of all the shipping options out there, my experience with USPS has always been the worst.

Our zipcode was changed a few years back. For awhile, UPS reported our address as invalid. Fed Ex shipped our packages to a non existent address in Idaho and returned them to the sender as undeliverable.

usrifle wrote: I have always had good luck with USPS, Everyone screws up sometime. Yeah, USPS has been pretty good to me. That said . . . their tracking sucks, even though it's 10x better than it used to be. I bet the package will show up while the tracking still shows it in Hawaii....

In the watch community, people use USPS Priority Mail Express to ship high dollar watches. Costs more than Fed Ex or UPS as well as the insurance, but is more secure. Something about the packages being scanned more often. Plus, they actually investigate mail theft.
Had a US Customs employee steal my watch at the Fed Ex Memphis sort facility (coming in from UK). They knew who did it, found the box and packing in a wastebasket by the US Customs ladies room. Nobody bothered about prosecution, Fed Ex just paid the claim.

Have you ever had a case where your package was stolen while being delivered via USPS and they were able to resolve it for you? Trying to reach a real person through the USPS customer service number has been very difficult and when I do get through the wait times are usually 50min.

Been using USPS (nothing but USPS) for 9 years with Sick Bike Parts. Yeah they have some issues, but the products get anywhere on the Earth and the best prices. Flat rate is the bomb.
U Piece of Shit UPS - just dropped my $170 radio box on my porch. Box damaged, radio doesn't work. I hate UPS with a passion. Shit in boxes is like shit in boxes put in blender.
FedEx is OK.
