I purchased one of these after looking into .22s
I must say that I am very very happy with it. the weight is well balanced and the feel is good. I took it to WCA on Saturday and put 250 rounds through it with no issues! none! Then Sunday I took my wife to WCA and had her shoot it. she had never fired a pistol, only rifles. she loved it. we put another 300 rounds through it, again with NO issues. I found it very accurate, np for my wife and I to get constant shots through it. the one thing I didn't like was that it only came with 1 mag. and the extra mags are $$ ( I bought 2 more) and cleaning any .22 is annoying cause the ammo is so dirty. I fired both Federal and CCI had no jams nor stove pipes or MS. it ejects the casings nicely and the slide is very smooth.
I would recommend the pistol to anyone looking for a nice little plinker.

P.S. Wife shot the 23 also, didnt like the kick so much, so now I'll HAVE to buy a 9 and let her try that. ( I bought the 9 for you sweety, oh you dont like that? well i'll have to buy another .. :ROFLMAO: )

Agreed, great review. thumbsup

The M&P pistols are very popular, and it was a good move on S&W's part to offer a .22 equivalent for cheap practice.

I wish Springfield would do the same with the XD....
