Another great write-up, solyanik! You do that very well.

Have you ever done an ammo comparison like that (with a CZ or anything else) and included the el cheapo bulk ammos? Like Federal or -- choke, gasp, vomit -- Remington Golden Bullets? That type of thing?

If so, how did the bulk ammo do against the more expensive stuff?

I did. It really depends - CZ 452 LOVES expensive stuff, but my Kimber thrives on Wolf Match Target. None like very inexpensive ammo all that much.

However, the absolutely best ammo for my Ruger Mark III is... Armscor. Yes, the one that is $1.39/box of 50. Better than Lapua Pistol Match, better than Wolf, better than most other expensive and inexpensive ammunition. Other favorite brands of the same pistol - CCI Blazer and American Eagle. All 3 produce 10 shot groups in under 1" at 25 yards.

Interesting....

I guess that just supports what I've read about .22 firearms: You really have no freaking clue what YOUR gun is going to like until you try them all!
