I don't buy from PSA for pretty.. I buy from PSA because it's super cheap.

Been using them for about a year. Been happy with the uppers I've bought from them. One was blemished, so they offered a partial refund for the blemish and I was happy about that, cheaper the better in my book. It's not like I'll get an AAA quality rifle from PSA and have it on display. Both uppers work.

Just ordered an AR-9 lower and upper this week. I do expect issues due to the nature of AR9. Who knows...

:plusone:

PSA is quantity over quality...although I haven't had too many issues with their quality. The one time I did (carrier was out of spec, so gas rings were getting chewed up), they resolved it quickly with no hassle by sending me a new BCG. PSA provides a fantastic value, but if you want perfection there are better places to shop.

My PSA AR-9 has been flawless since day 1. I was also expecting some challenges based upon what I had read online prior to buying, but after 500 rds with no malfunctions, it's good to go. I'm definitely glad I used an AR-10 carbine buffer spring though...a standard AR-15 carbine buffer spring would not have been heavy enough.

So got my AR-9 on Friday. And of course, took it to an IDPA match before I had even fired it.

Worked absolutely flawlessly. I was absolutely shocked. Not a single malfunction. It is also much much prettier than I thought it would be. No blemishes this time.

I received this one: https://palmettostatearmory.com/blem-ps ... 7638b.html

I can't find any obvious blem in the upper - maybe a mar or something. All the other parts are pristine.

This $199 AR-10 lower, I picked up today: https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen ... 46483.html

Very nice. Smooth trigger. No complaints.

Welp. Got the M4 freedom rifle kit. Buffer tube doesn't thread properly, won't send round back into battery, tried it on two different lowers. The detent and the buffer tube are not friends, if I screw it in too far so the detent stays down, the upper doesn't go in, if I screw it in too loose, I have to whack the buttstock to get the buffer to move the BCG.

Cool.

Ooh, I'll have to check them out. I've also always been super impressed with Runner Runner Guns out of Texas. Great parts, great prices.
