Olympic Security Solutions Inc. is looking to fill multiple positions for unarmed security officers in the South Tacoma, WA area. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We provide a family-like work environment, stable hours, and medical benefits to our security officers. Our officers are supplied with top-notch professional looking vehicles, equipment, and training. Continuing training is provided by professionally certified trainers and law enforcement officers.

Our employees serve clients from Kent to Lakewood and everywhere in between. We provide a pro-active service to our clients. Our officers must be comfortable working in constant public contact and have an eye for detail in their work. We primarily serve housing communities such as apartments and HOAs. No boring warehouse work. We are looking for employees that don't mind getting out of the car, walking properties and interacting with tenants nightly.

Shifts are typically 2100-0500 nightly. We have no current day shift positions available as that is a promotional slot based on availability.

If you don't have your guard license yet, or it's expired or in terminated status, we can get you back up and running provided you meet the experience requirements. If you have out of state experience apply, we can help you get up and running in this state if you're hired. We have an in house trainer and we cover all costs of getting your license back up and running.

OSS Employment Requirements:

2 years of security officer, law enforcement, private investigator, military police, or other related field experience.
Clean driving record suitable for insurance purposes, no DUIs or DWI convictions can be accepted.
Valid Washington State drivers license.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Washington State Security Guard License.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
No felony convictions ever, nor convictions for misdemeanor domestic violence.
Able to walk, run, and climb stairs frequently.
Able to spend up to 12 hours at times working in and out of a company vehicle in all weather conditions.
Have the ability to respond to potentially violent situations in a calm and respectful manner. Able to make quick judgments and adapt to different situations.
Able to provide own equipment, including duty belt, bullet resistant vest, pepper spray, & handcuffs. Uniforms will be provided.
Possess an Android or Apple smartphone and have knowledge using such a device. Calls are dispatched via mobile application.
Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to talk to and approach persons in a polite and friendly manner.
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
Fluent in the English Language, we encourage bi-lingual applicants.
Ability to operate a personal computer.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Able to pass an oral panel interview with 3 supervisors.
