I've heard that Palmer School chiropractic doctors are preferred but that's with my small sample space. Whatever works for you. I've had both Palmer and non-Palmer work for me.
I was going to a chiropractor who got me 90% fixed but said that a chiropractic doctor was needed. He said that not all doctors are created equal and for something involving limbs, bones you want the best, so he recommended Brodie Wood:

I went to Brodie a while before going to Iraq. Brodie had me on some pain meds and I was taking cortisone shots before PT tests. He eventually recommended surgery but I was deployed and the Army issued me the largest bottle of Advil I ever saw (of course it wasn't the better kind that Dr Wood recommended but the cheap ass kind).
I guess the combination of 120 degree heat and taking 14 grams of Solaray Vitamin C (water soluble of course)every day to flush out the vaccines (Anthrax, Hep B) did the trick and I was near pain free when I came back. Maybe just waiting things out and trying something different.
I DO NOT recommend pain pills for any duration. I've read that they retard any real repair that your body does.
