Keep in mind those rotors are CAST iron, not steel.

ha! i was wondering why i'm not getting any fusion....
when i first got the MIG welder i welded the rotors together with it. now i was going to town on them with the stick welder and i hear this loud ass PINNNGGGG!!!! scared the shit out of me.
the rotors got so hot that the mig weld popped loose :ROFLMAO:

Get yourself a cutting torch. If your sample material cuts/flows nicely its steel. If it fizzles/sparks when you giver a blast then its cast.
