I'm offering $200 cash for somebody to help me install my barrel at their location. I don't have a living environment conducive to a building a rifle.
And I also would like you to look over my build to make sure everything is in order so I'm asking for somebody is very experienced in building ARs. Mine is an Aero Precision with a 16" Hanson barrel.
I can actually do the work but I need a space to do it in and somebody's expertise.
I live in Woodinville and I will drive a reasonable distance.
I'm not interested in replying to anything posted in this thread if you are interested in taking me up on my offer then simply private message me. Anything posted here will be ignored by me. I trust this website is ran by honorable people and frequentwd by honorable people but there is often some resident drama queens who are tolerated for some strange reason and I'm not going to play their game if that is the case at this website (like on other popular local gun forums).
I am an honorable man and I want to deal with people who are honorable reasonable and rational.
I would just have a gunsmith do it but they're all busy for the next several months. Plus I have to drop it off and wait for it I can't just bring it down there when they are ready do the work.
If you are gunsmith and can do this in the next 2 weeks then private message me and let's get it done I'm happy to pay your rates. I'm not dropping the barrel off. if I do this with a gunsmith it's going to be in the same way as if I would use a civilian's garage. I would prefer to do the work myself.
However I assume the person I find is going to be just a civilian who builds their own rifles.
Thank you

Welcome to Waguns. I'm not sure why you would think a post asking for help with your build would generate any drama, but welcome nonetheless. I'm sure someone will offer to help you out, there are lots of good people here.

Hey Greg,
Welcome to WaGuns!
If you feel like making the trip to Tacoma you can use my shop. I can install the barrel for you or you can use my tools to do it yourself, I'm not picky
No Charge

To the original poster, I DO think you'll find the honorable non-drama type of interaction you hope for, at least 92.5% of the time.

If you bring along a 6 pack of beer to RocketScott's, I can stand behind you and criticize the way you're doing it while you're building your upper if you want so it isnt so different than what you were expecting (Thats a joke btw)

Wait..... just got see Rocketscott, you will be better off. Now if you can get Jager to smoke some Meat and Rocketscott to install the barrel, you will be in business. You will have a good build and some good BBQ too.
