Well, it’s looking like we need new gutters, so was hoping for some advice & recommendations on installers and types of gutters.

We’re in the Des Moines/Normandy Park area.

Any good experiences?

People to steer clear of?

Covered, or uncovered?

Thanks! :thumbsup2:

make sure the back side is taller than the front or your fascia boards will be f^cked. 1/4 slope every ten ft. I like 8 make sure they use screws, aluminum nails will just pop out slowly.

leafguard If you got pine needles call em every month and have them clean. leaf screens and all that B/S garbage

I lived in Des Moins back in the eighties. I remember enough snow that I would NOT put gutters on a house. If you do you will have to put heaters on them for cold weather.. Rain falls down so what is the point of gutters. My dad insisted on gutters on the back die of the house in the Yakima area. After one heavy snow year the gutters came off and were never put on again. Better to just have proper drainage around your house and move faster when you walk out from under the cover to get out of the deluge zone.

Might have been an isolated incident, but Watermark Gutters gave me nothing but headaches, and three trips to fix shit.
