Tagging along here rather than start a new thread but I'm also looking for someone to blow some more insulation into my attic in Port Orchard.

You can do it yourself. I have seen the equipment for rent at Home Depot and you can go with fiberglass or cellulose.

If you opt to do it yourself:
You absolutely DO NOT want the free blower from Home Depot. Nothing but problems and fighting the piece of shit for several hours to get it to blow in 120 lbs of insulation and not clog up every time I climbed up to the attic. Called around and rented a gas powered blower from a rental place and blew in 900 lbs in a couple hours. No clogs, no issues , went super smooth.

I tried to rig up a vacuum myself and it sorta worked - harbor freight dust vacuum for a wood shop and 100' of 3" corrugated pipe, clogged a lot and wasnt super efficient. Rented a commercial gas powered insulation vacuum and got it done in a few hours. Should have gone that route from the beginning.

I bought insulation from mcclendons and they offered blower for free. Even delivered and picked it up. Worked great. That was several years ago, but it was pretty easy, did my whole attic..pretty big space.
