So is this supposed to make us feel better about the endless push for more cameras?

And not enough deodorant and shampoo to do anything about it...

Recently everyone is buzzing about the loss of rights, terrorism, invasion of privacy, etc. it gets depressing after so long.

The purpose is to show that there ARE still some good people out there. There is still kindness, generosity, curiosity, innocence, playfulness, there are still people that enjoy life and regardless of political affiliation, that's gotta mean something.

We have a great group of guys (and gals) here and that kindness that we show each other here extends worldwide. People everywhere aren't all bad. There is still some humanity left in the world.

A buddy of mine was helping some friends move. A ground floor apartment fire alarm was going off, after about 2 minutes, you could see flames in the window facing their little garden. The teenage daughters mattress and pillow was catching fire after a candle had warmed the cord to some Christmas lights and was dripping flaming plastic.
He hammered the shit out of the front door, and was about to break the window, when the elderly mother/grandparent? opened the door completely unaware of what was going on. Long story short, he hosed down the whole mattress with a fire extinguisher, and evacuated the three occupants.
Would-be heros are out there, gives me a bit more faith in the world.
