Been in WA my whole life, just moved to Tacoma near Pacific Ave and SR512. Looking for a decent gunsmith that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for work. Looking to have a Centurion C4 cut-out FF rail installed and two muzzle brakes installed on my ARs. I know there is a guy near Mary's Pistols named Bill or something and there is a gunsmith shop in The Marksman. If need be I'll drive to Gig Harbor to Bob since he quoted $75 for everything a few months ago, but just seeing what is out there. Eventually I'll need some work done on my Hi-Power too.

Thanks guys. I would do it myself but despite living with two mechanics and an engineer, we don't have the tools and to buy everything, it would be the same as paying someone to do a better job

I can do most things on an AR that doesn't require actual machining (that includes drilling new gas ports, and the holes for front sight taper pins). Dimpling a barrel for a gas block 90% of the time, cleaning up a gas port, pinning and welding sure.

Just screwing on two flash hiders with crush washers or shims? Not pinning and welding? After removing the pinned and welded ones there previously?

I was an armorer back when M16s where just coming into service. If you dont want to trust any joe blow, over in west Oly there is a shop just for ARs.
