Hey guys,

My work van started blowing ASD fuses last week and wouldn't start. Installed a 30amp fuse to replace the 20amp that was blowing hoping the problem would expose itself. It has. Now getting electrical codes from the transmission. Transmission is in limp mode (2nd and 3rd gear only) and getting a slow steady draw that is killing the battery. Suspect an issue in wiring grounding power but I'm not good with vehicle electrical.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the north end? Need my van on the road for work asap.

Thank you!

No real good advice, I just paid the dealer (Ford) to find and repair an electrical drain I was having on my Ford van.
Turned out that a short in the instrument cluster was causing the drain.
$1200.00 later and I am on the road.
