The fiberglass insulation in my 5 ton is shot...30+ years has taken its toll...
So I'm looking for someone to be able to spray in some closed cell foam.. I may be able to come to the shop depending on location, to save time/money for the installer.
Trying to get prices
I have....
2 side walls that are ~17'x7' with 4 - ~2'x2' openings on each wall. 2 front area walls that are ~2'x7' 1 roof that's ~20'x7' 1 rear wall that's ~ 6' x 4'
Need depth to 2in. in most areas, with a possible maximum depth of 4 inches in some areas of the roof....
Studs are metal, and are not standard spacing....
I can shave off all the excess.
Based on my square footage, most estimates I've seen have been ~$500, but those are automated, and are estimated to include delivery to home, set up, cleanup and all that jazz... I pretty much want to drive it up, have it sprayed, and have me drive away 2 hours later... No frills, no special cutting or measuring or anything, just blast and go... heh

The guy I help with his food trucks had them sprayed at a place off 512.
I’ll get their info tomorrow.

Foam board may be more cost effective.

mcyclonegt wrote: Foam board may be more cost effective. From pricing I've seen, they're not that far off for smaller spaces like mine. You gotta factor in the cost of tape and the fact that you won't get a perfect seal with foam board. The spray foam gets EVERYWHERE and actually can add to structural stability.. But yes, my very 1st thought was foam board...
