I was thinking low pitch for the roof for sure. There's no snow load here to speak of, so I'm pretty sure that'd be fine. Or even a slant roof. Whatever. I could show you what I'd be working with for sure.

Dig a big hole underneath of it, and put in a full sized concrete basement gun safe / man cave / ammo dump / indoor range while you are at it.
Harder for shit rats to steal out of a re-bar concrete basement gun vault with hidden access.

Pro tip: If I can’t fit my boom truck inside while I’m building it then it’s not big enough... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine is only 24’x48’ with 10’x16’ doors . I can barely fit my cclb truck in, I have to pull my hitch off my truck to close the door so if you have a cclb take that into consideration. I had a deal on the specific trusses I used so that’s the route I went . Next time I will go deeper to 30’ or so

My shop is 22x30. The door is 16x9 and on the 22' side facing the street. I don't have an alley.
I have plenty of width for my car and truck with shelves on either side. Length is good, there's enough room past my truck to still have work space.
Adding a lift takes up a lot of room and the orientation of the building to the alley will determine where it goes if you use scissor trusses.
You should also think about security. I have a friend who's a builder and his shop has been broken into several times. Thieves just drive into the overhead door that's right on the alley. Either set the garage in and put up a fence with a gate or put the overhead door on the side so it's not facing the alley and have a gate that rolls closed.
Your travel trailer needs a spot too. You don't want it blocking any doors when the trailer is parked. Add and outlet so you can plug it in. Running a dehumidifier and small heater in the winter will prolong it's life.

I'm actually thinking about having the garage situated inside the yard so the doors face the yard not the alley. But regardless of how it's oriented it will have a security system. And I'm not sure what a cclb is

Oh, and don't tell them you plan to work out of it. It's strictly for parking your cars in.
They will try to hit you up for a business license.
