Howdy,
Have one 12 x 6 entry way tile that is cracked all the way through.
I have a new 12 x 12 replacement piece that needs to be cut.
Old piece is out.
New one needs 1/4" Hardie board backing piece, and the tile stuck down and grouted.
Also the balance of the 26 s/f needs to have the light grey grout removed & replaced, as a lot is missing.

Anybody up for doing this by end of day Oct. 7th?
I'm on the east hill of Kent, close to Kentridge High School.

Master tile setter and former contractor here. The tile was improperly installed and this is why it is failing. The only other possibility (extemely unlikely) is you have severe termite damage directly underneath. There is mosaic tile still basically complete and with grout from the Roman empire era. Done tile off and on since I was 13, that was 1973. My older brother was also a tile contractor and the family was taught tile by an old German fellow

You need it all torn out, substrates checked out and a proper professional installation with high quality materials. Please do not shoot the psychic tile guy messenger
