Took delivery of a Midnight Bronze Wrangler. Fun little shooter, and tore up paper, pop cans, knocked paint of a little gong....

Fun morning at the gun range today. Test fired the Kel Tec CP33 with the Thunder Beast suppressor attached. Amazingly accurate and a very quite 33 rounds of 22lr. BTW....3 available for sale....

Rifle Dynamics rear sight was in the mailbox when I got home so I threw that on the M10.

Ladder tested 30-06 rounds trying to find what powder weight is best using 168 gr bullet and IMR 4350. Best 3 shot group was 1" MOA with 55 grains @ 100 yards. 3" high on bull but the rifle is zero'd for 200 yards.

Good morning everyone.
So, this weekend my mom, my girlfriend and I went to Gun Sale in Bremerton. i was hoping to find a .44 magnum revolver but it was a wash. Even though I left empty handed, I purchased a S&W model 642 revolver for my Momma. I have listened to her talk about her faulty little Kel-Tec .32 for years, and she talked blue about wanting a nice gun. We went to a gun show yesterday and she couldn't take her eyes off the Smith so we asked to get a quick feel of it. When she said it felt like a good fit I pulled out the cash and told the Rep to write it up and get the paperwork started.
She cried.
I laughed.
It was nice.

^ Nice. I expect that 642 will be a little snappier than her .32, hopefully she enjoys that.

She is excited for it, and she has shot my Model 340 which is much lighter, so she can anticipate the recoil. I also bought her a little holster that she can pin into her purse, no thumb break, so she'll be able to carry it safely and draw when neccessary with little to no obstruction.
