https://eaacorp.com/product/girsan-mc-p35/I am very tempted to get one right now. 2-15rd mags and will accept the standard 13rd ones. Yes I know they are made in Turkey but a lot of firearms are now and they have built a decent reputation. Reviews say this is currently the best Hi-power clone under a real Browning. It certainly looks to be better quality then the FEG I used to own that stove piped all the time. Of course the first thing to go would be that mag safety which would make the trigger break much better. I did that mod on the FEG I had. I have several 9mm handguns but have always loved the ergonomics of these. Currently $459 at Sportsman's, seems the cheapest price at the moment.

These Turkish BHP clones are well regarded. Turkish guns in general are gaining a reputation for good fit and function in a production-grade pistol. A real BHP will set you back at least $1k (used) and do nothing more than hold a Browning pedigree. Cylinder and Slide inc is even producing high quality aftermarket parts for them. I would pick one up if I didn't already own a real BHP.

It fits way better in my hand and I have always favored SA before DA. The fact that Jeff Cooper liked them also says a lot. The only thing they could use now is probably a rail to bring them up to date but they are fine as is I think.

Realize that right now after recent events I have a sick feeling we are rushing into another Post SH timeframe for our hobby/way of life. Anti's are out for blood and we are heading straight into an election cycle. Even without production issues thing will be hard to find.

I get it, I have just never seen anything like this and I have been around firearms since the early 90s. You know it's beyond bad when the black powder boys cant find #10 caps or even revolvers in stock. It's just nuts.

I had an FM High Power too back in the day they came out, in the early 90s. Lots of aftermarket magazines worked well, so it was a good piece. However, the exterior of the FM did not wear well, and looked like hell when worn, but it was still functional. Might have to either use that or maybe wait out for a real FN High Power or similar.
