Ordered a S&W M&P 10mm w/ 5 extra 15rd mags and 6 TaylorFreelance +4 mag extensions. Should all be here before the cutoff.

I did the same (not the extensions though), mine just arrived at the ffl, need to do the paperwork. I had been hoping for a 10mm p320 but jumped on the m&p as soon as the mags showed up in stores.

Did you go 4" or 4.6? I went with the 4 but debated that a lot.

Did exactly the same thing. Got an alert on the mags becoming available and the bought the gun. Went with the 4.6". Also wanted P320 10mm but I don't think the mags will be available in time.

Decided I had enough AK drum mags it was finally time to order a RPK. The intwerwebz is littered with scam sites selling “battlefield pickup” RPK’s. Century has the AES 10b but meh. I don’t like the blond furniture. Then I stumbled onto psa. Apparently they’re building numbers matching RPK’s from Romanian parts kits. Reviews are good. So, PSA RPK it is!

Also, psa has a 5% off site wide coupon that I was able to apply to this. 5% may not seem like much but it was $77 off this purchase!

Installed a Holosun SCS on the Glock 45. Super low profile and co-witnesses with stock Glock sights.

Oh, that’s interesting. This is the first time I’ve heard of that sight.

So does it just have an internal, non-replaceable battery that charges when you’re out in the light? Will it be on if you pull the gun out of your safe after a few months, or is that where the cowitnessed sights come into play?

Sitting in the safe with the Circle-dot it should last 60,000hrs once full charged. With the sight turned off it still uses some power but will last 200,000hrs. Rechargeable batteries have come a long way as I have flashlight w/ a 18650 battery in my bed side table that is 10yrs+ and only need charging once a year.

Quote:
The SCS uses a combination of solar and an internal rechargeable battery power supply system. When ambient lighting is insufficient, the SCS is powered by the internal battery. When the ambient lighting is sufficient, the solar cell automatically charges the internal battery

Example: In the most extreme case, 12 μAh of power will be consumed when the circle-dot mode is used for 10 hours. It can charge 100uAh when charging outdoors for 1 hour. The rate of charge is much higher than the power consumption rate. During normal use, there is virtually no need to worry about battery power consumption.

Some 22LR AR 30rd mags arrived for my beretta ARX160 today. They take the common colt/hk 416 22lr mags.

Procrastinated between the S&W 10 and the XD 10. Settled for a Glock 22 with 28 mags.

I'm sure in a few months I'll be kicking myself. I already reload for my Glock 29.
