I've also experienced something similar to this with online shooting-related purchases, most recently purchasing from LAX ammo. Trying to explain this in an email to customer service got the exact response I'd expect from someone who's job it is to read customer support email.
I checked the shipping address prior to completing check-out to see some dude's name and address in California. Not sure how that would have worked out since CA requires ammo to go through FFL. Maybe the filters are based on billing address? I'll bet a lot of people get F'd by similar things where someone can get into our accounts. |
