Yes I understand. As I stated the upper and lower are close enough. And so is this upper that they sent me. I don’t see how hard it would be for them to put some type of color sticker on the end of each box so that they know which piece was anodized with what kind of material. I’m sure they can anodize quite a few with the same mixture and then when they go to a different make sure it’s a different color of a sticker. It’s not that hard.

This looks so much better and within the range that is acceptable. However I found more blems in the lower today. I’m not that worried about that. It will be covered in oil, gas and sweat soon enough.

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the first one I got, and the second one I got. I can definitely live with the second one. Like I said, they need to put some type of code or sticker on the boxes, and try to match them up as best they can for the customers. I do appreciate them, letting me send the items back without any fees and I don’t have to pay for shipping.

Also, I did order the other style hand guard to see if the color was better. Maybe that it’s made with a different alloy? IDK?

Green anodizing is all over the place when it comes to colors. It's very temperamental. Youd have to have all your stuff done in the same batch of it's going to look different

Because black isn't a transparent color, this green is very transparent, there's also different types of aluminum being used

I got the Kodiak Brown ano, with a pretty similar mismatch. It'll wear in. Or I'll rattle can camo it once it gets built out.

This is super simple. Different batches of Ano, and the differences of Alloy between 6000 series and 7000 series aluminum alloys. Aero made it right, done deal.
