Where the heck can I get a couple old pistols or rifles that have no monetary value ? I base this off of an old pistol handed down to me appraised at a gun show by many old boys and yes watching Pawn Stars. Anything I find on the Internet has $100+ in value but apparently there is a lot of firearms with no value out there. Of course I'd pay something for them if found.

ya just gotta keep your eyes open, when you least expect it one will come along

Did you hear the story about the guy who built his gun collection $20 at a time? I think he worked for the cable company and would find old relics in basements and attics while installing cable...the story was in the WAC gun news I think.

I had a Marlin 1898 Widowmaker takedown riot shotgun I bought at a gun show for $100, was almost like new.
Many years ago Marlin announced they were not safe to fire.
Lot like the Winchester version, except the bolt goes in from the back instead of the front.
If the locking lug fails, bolt will go through your eye socket and out the back of your head at about 250 mph, hence the name.
But was a nice looking wall hanger.

Replaced it as the fireplace hanger with a H&R 1873 45-70 Officers Model Trapdoor.
It's a fun shooter, can ring a 4" steel gong up a steep hill at 140 yards all day long (light loads only).

(Stock photo of Marlin 1898, not mine)
