Loaded and placed my .44 Mag in my glovebox. Never know if you're going to encounter that 5 point in your driveway...
Cleaned the lint from my CCW.

Day 3 of 4 at Frontsight Nevada. Outstanding experience.
Discovered ‘Glock Finger’. Less than Outstanding experience.

Discovered ‘Glock Finger’. Less than Outstanding experience. Is this a blister on the underside of your finger from the texture on the polymer? I sanded the inside of my trigger guard for that reason.

I sanded the inside of my trigger guard for that reason. Not a blister, but it’s raw as hell. Instructor indicates it’s from the trigger actually pinching a little meat at the back of the pull. I asked him what I could do about it and he says “Well, they call it Glock finger...” lol

Ordered a new AR wrench after discovering a while back that my current wrench is apparently out of spec and will not work with the BAR nut for my Aero handguard (the 3 small posts are not properly spaced). jukk0u generously offered to let me use his (appears to be Smith Enterprises with the "USMC" marking) and it worked like a charm. Felt well-made, too. I shopped around online and saw it going for anywhere between $50 and $90. It kinda killed me to spend $50 on yet another AR tool, but in the end it'll probably be money well-spent.
Also ordered another tunable gas block from Odin Works. I have one on my 5.56 upper and really like it, so the .300 blk upper gets one, too. I just wish it had a black nitride finish instead of stainless.

Discovered ‘Glock Finger’. Less than Outstanding experience. Remove excess trigger safety plastic. Depress it all the way and dremel off the excess Just got in an ATN Thor thermal scope and a buddy and I set the basics up last night and took it outside to test it. Will be going on my new side folder Molot Vepr 74 as soon as the special Vepr rails come in. Have a new 1-6 PAs ACSS Gen 2 scope for the 2nd rail that's incoming. The Thor can be set up for a number of weapons with a seperate profile for each, but I have to go buy a mini SD card

I just used that paint (stove paint) today to paint up a bunch of Tapco AK 47 smooth side mag bases. Helps prevent rust. Degrease it with laquer thinner and go for it, part of the joy is customizing your kit and weapons

Rigged a chair with over the shoulder seatbelts for action pistol tonight and gave everyone a fun wakeup call during the course of fire.
