No, that's a Ruger mag . . . but the rifle comes with the mag adapter for Glock mags, so you can swap it out in just a couple of minutes. |

The one thing I wish it had was an adapter for XDm mags. I don't own a 9mm Ruger or a Glock, so I'm hoping down the road there will be more drop in additions. Perhaps on the secondary market. I got one because it is take down, I like the platform, great prep gun. Surprisingly heavy. But it is fun to shoot. |

Get it now..... Can always sell later. I hate regret. See there was this one early Colt Commander that I passed on at a Chehalis show like 12yrs ago. Thinking yeah its really nice but I just dumped $900 on a Gold Cup...Ill pick up the next one I see. So when was the first Tacoma Dome show? 2014 That's when I finally found the 68 Commander I'd searched for and passed on. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, SBR just isn't that popular in PCC because of lack of length in handguard. I could do OK with a 10" handguard but 13" and above is perfect for me. This being said, if we are talking AR9, then that's not impacted by i1639 if you buy the lower and upper separately. |

I think the PSA Billet Glock-pattern AR-9 stripped lowers are about $170 all-in after transfer and tax. I'm happy with mine. It has a captive safety detent pin (threaded channel with Allen screw), the bolt catch installs with an Allen screw instead of a roll pin, and the safety selector hole is cut for a short throw lever. The mag well is a little tight, but not too bad. No LRBHO, but still a great value, IMO. |

The appeal of the Ruger is it's a takedown 9mm that uses Glock mags and cost under $500 that is rather accurate. Owning both a Scorpion carbine and a Ruger the Scorpion is better. It begs you to shoot fast, it's more fun somehow but it's also more expensive. If you don't mind spending more the Scorpion is better without question. If you already have an absurd amount of Glock mags, don't want to spend too much, want something you can break down into smaller parts, get the Ruger. |
