Does anyone know if Fred is still in the area? I know he posted some years back about taking a year off from smithing after the separation from CaR in Kent. I didn't have any usable results from a search on this site, and i would like to reconnect with he and Christa. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

True, and I considered how much I dislike unannounced drop ins and decided not to do the same. I may do that at some point, but after I have tried other means of comms. I also used to have an active phone number, but it is the same number as the current number for CaR in Kent, so that's out.

Both Fred and Christa are on facebook although Christa is more active
