YOUR RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED. I might do that if they don’t release my pistol to me by August 12.

And I have a concealed pistol license. What pawn shop, so they can be added to the "list"?

Border Dave, do read that other thread; a couple of pages in, there's some good discussion of Washington law (the RCWs) and how it says that the store SHALL release the gun after 10 days, even if they haven't heard back. They don't legally have a choice. It's very possible that your gun store simply isn't aware of this, so I would talk to them, and show them the law, before taking more drastic action.

Sound Loan Co. Snohomish County Submitted: 08/09/2019 Approved: 08/09/2019 For a "firearm" it should be a simple NICS check, with no LE involvement . . . right?

A local gun shop, Adventure Sports, told me that they call the records division of the department they send the paperwork to. The reason is to make sure the department received the faxed paperwork. Some how, I won't mention the agencies name, but they blame their fax machine as not getting the fax (paper work), from the dealer. Adventure makes the call as a courteous gesture for their customer to make sure things are done right. When LE denies getting paper work the buyer is never told. This may cause abnormal and un-just wait times. Go figure.
What? Oh sorry, we never received the paperwork. Does the dealer know? How could he know we didn't receive the paperwork, no one asked!

Man Cave Outfitters, Centralia Don't know if Centralia PD or Lewis County Sheriff does the BGC but for two pistol purchases it was seven days and six.
