Of the 345,547 ammunition background checks performed, only 101 stopped the buyer because he or she was a “prohibited person” who can’t legally possess ammunition, according to state Department of Justice data.

Yet another 62,000 ammunition purchases were rejected as well. Those people left empty-handed because their personal information hadn’t been entered into the state’s system, or the information on their identification cards didn’t match what officials had entered into the California gun registry database

That's 1 in 5... 20%.... falsely denied a purchase that shouldn't require a background check...

and what happens if I wanna buy ammo in CA? ? I have to get a fucking permit? Fuck that.

What a bunch of BS.

Don't think it can't happen here, either.

BGCs for ammo will be proposed this legislative session.

In CA most of the purchasers were probably addicted to illegal drugs, renounced their US citizenship, illegal aliens, and mentally defective. :ROFLMAO:

Bet you didn't think 594 or 1639 would pass. It only will get worse until SCOTUS pulls their heads out.

Anything stopping CA residents from reloading or zipping over to NV to purchase a truck load?

It's in another thread. Apparently the CA DoJ and Brady send "agents" to gun shows and shops to catch CA residents buying ammo, then stop them once they cross the border

Supposedly Needles,CA is becoming a sanctuary city and will be dividing itself from the rest of California's tyrannical laws.

It's a small town, literally in the middle of nowhere, but could potentially become the states richest city, if it does :thumbsup2:
