Got the call today my Python showed up. Stopped by Sportsman's Warehouse in Everett to inspect and fill out BGC; they told me it was the first one they received. Serial number is in the 0023XX range. Crown and cylinder lockup was fine. Will need to perform a quick polish to remove all the fingerprints. Hopefully they don't put it on display or take it out of the box to show customers/employees.

As you probably know already, they won’t release after 10 days. Congrats on the purchase, though.

Put 100-rounds of 38-Special and 30-rounds of 357 Magnum today with no issues other than me needing more practice/range time with it. Accuracy is excellent and grip fits my hand perfectly. If I take my time I can center-punch a 1" target dot at 7yds.
