Magpul is releasing two new drum mags for 9mm. The PMAG D-50 EV9 for the scorion EVO and the PMAG D-50 GL9-PCC for Glock patterned PCCs FEATURES: 50-round capacity Ratcheting loading lever for ease of loading Easy disassembly High-visibility follower and rounds-remaining window And many more The Glock version doesn't work with Glock pistols. MSRP is $119.95. Street price should be closer to $100 Somehow these seem more appealing than the D-60 for the AR. At the same time it's 10 rounds less than two 30 round mags with a coupler

Price needs to come down. Also, I haven't met a drum yet that isn't heavy and awkward. But hey it keeps the libs up at night, so that's alright in my book!

I kind of want one for my sbr'd micro scorpion, but i havent enjoyed many drums in the past. The compactness is great for that platform though.

Hmm. I'm putting together a .45 AR pistol. I doubt Magpul will release a .45 version of this mag unless Ruger releases a .45 PCC, and will probably only be a D40.
In related news, I determined that the D60 runs GREAT in full auto!

Large frame Glock drums in 10mm or .45 would be kick ass for those with a FrankenGun, that new CMMG pistol (name?), or a KRISS. Shoot, even a 25 to 33 round stick mag would be sweet.

Yeah, i want one.....but 35rd sticks for 15 bucks is hard to beat and mag changes are faster. They are cool, but is that last 15 going to save your Life? Maybe it will.... SHTF might be coming soon.
