Hi All:

These have been stored for 20-35 years and I am having trouble identifying what they go to. The guy who owned them had S&W and Colt .357 and .44 mag revolvers. There are no markings on them anywhere to show what model they fit.

Your thoughts?

Thank You:

James

Some of those are easily recognizeable by the medalion. With those bad photos and my bad eyes I am seeing Ruger and Smith and Wesson and Colt for sure. Better photos or someone with better eyes.

James,

I can help with a couple. In the third pic, you have, from top to bottom:

S&W N frame Square Butt target with speedloader cutout, period correct for 1982-1990 or so. Worth $75

S&W N frame Square Butt target with football cutout, period correct for 1969-1982 or so. Worth $100

Colt Gen III Python grip, period correct for 1979-1992 or so. Worth $150

Looks like some Ruger single action grips there too, maybe a Single Six. The others are the kind of blocky wood you used to see on inexpensive grips in the 1980s and aren't worth much. You have some S&W auto grips in there too, probably for a 39 but you don't show them real well.

Those Smith stocks look like K frame to me, not N frame.

It's possible. You literally need a gun to test them on. I figured, they're bigger than the Colt E/I pictured, so probably an N frame.

I've bought both N and K frame grips on eBay that fit the other frame. So...a test is needed.

If the ledges that bisect the medallion are the same, Its N. If the rear ledge is thinner than the forward ledge, its K.
