Not too many rounds . . . those are baffle strikes. Shot with the wrong endcap? Shot with a loose suppressor, i.e. not tightened down? Shot on a gun with non-concentric threads?

Those smaller dings are weird, though. Shot with birdshot? WTF?

223 or 22lr.

It's the right end cap as all my others are bigger holes.

Well, they USED to have bigger holes.... :ROFLMAO:

Is it possible that you sent a .308 through that endcap?

I can personally confirm that a 147gr 9mm bullet will NOT cause damage to the .22/.223 end cap of the hybrid.

It does, however, make a godawful buzz as it travels downrange, and may cause loosening of one's bowels.

Well, took it apart. Pretty clean inside and no signs of any damage beyond the funky endcap.

Weird.

Best outcome you can get there. Still interested to know what caused it

Yep, just need a new end cap. Or just cleanup the hole in it. Weird there was no baffle strikes, there must be an explanation for that end cap.
