The fear mongering is strong. "Men with guns" is said multiple times.
Do you think it's inaccurate?
I think we SHOULD be afraid. The ATF is making up their own rules here, with suppressors, with "machine guns," etc. People who are following the law are suddenly being targeted.
If the ATF comes to visit, it won't be for a sweet tea and a friendly chat.
Makes me think about what happened when a shop in San Diego was selling some of the first 80% AR receivers back in 2014... Ares Arms:
“There were women and children inside our retail establishment when the (ATF) agents came in with guns drawn,” said Ares Armor Executive Officer Dimitrios Karras. “They came into our manufacturing facility with their guns up like they were invading Iraq.”
The raid happened three days after Ares owner was granted a temporary restraining by a judge to stop ATF agents from searching their stores."

Oh man, if I'd been the judge who granted that TRO... every jackboot on the raid and their Field Office SAC and ASAC would be enjoying a stay in Hotel Graybar on Contempt of Court.

It's not that they were selling the first ones, there were a ton of 80%ers on the market at that time, it was because the EP armory made ones out of 2 colors of plastic. The ATF has a "once a MG always a MG" rule, EP said they cast the white pocket first, then cast the receiver around it which should have been legal.
The issue as i understand it is Dimitri Karraz(spelling?) told the ATF to pound sand when they asked for records of sales and tried to legal up against them.
In the end they returned all the receivers to him but told he shouldnt sell them, i'm not sure what happened then because he at one point he actually was going to put them up for sale at a high enough price he could cover legal fees or something like that. I dont know if he followed thru with it though.
Dimitri is still a free man and runs 3 stores called "Firearms Unknown" which also has a youtube channel that is pretty funny

I wondered what happened to that Dimitrios guy. He had a falling out with one of his associates who started a company called American Weapons Components. Seems like that guy, whose name I just can't recall, retained rights to a bunch of the tactical gear they sold at Ares, but a bunch of it just went away. The AWC guy was pretty salty about the greek guy, in a veiled sort of way in a few conversations I had with him...
Here's one of the videos you just mentioned:
