Re: Revolver ID

Those cartridges on the top revolver don't look like 357. Looks more like 44 Magnum and the revolver looks like some flavor of S&W Performance Center Model 629 with an optics-ready ribbed and Magna-Ported barrel.

The one on the bottom really stumps me. Looks like a titanium cylinder with a full underlug barrel. The lack of stampings on the barrel lead me toward a custom build.

ETA: Found the bottom revolver (built on a 686): https://clarkcustomguns.com/custom-gun/ ... ustom-ssr/
The cylinder was finished in FDE which led me to thinking it looked like a S&W titanium cylinder.

S&W can be tricky with the limited run distributor specials that they'll put together.

First pic has me stumped. It's most likely a .44

Looks like a shorter version of the 629 magnum hunter with no muzzle comp. Or maybe an earlier version? It also has some elements of the S&W stealth hunter.

Swing out the cylinder and look on the frame behind the cylinder crane. Your model number should be stamped there.

Pretty sure he doesn’t have these pistols, but wants them

First one is a 629 hunter plus.

Maybe Casey could tell us more?
