My mother in law had a gun for me for the past 6 years.
She didn't tell me what it was (she knew what it was) and told me I can pick it up anytime and it was worth it to pick it up. She lives in Yachats Oregon (I am in Bellingham) 6-7 hour drive. Her friends (male friends) keep wanting to buy it from her and keeps telling them no. So, what the hell, I pick up my son in Bothell and we head down on Tuesday. I get there and she brings out a Colt Python, Blued, 4"...PRISTINE. I don't think it was ever shot. As per the serial number, it looks like it was made in 1977. So, for me, well worth the drive....Plus I got away from the wife for a couple days, got to hang out with my adult son and spend a little time with the MIL-she is great people. I might post pictures if I get around to it. This is just a little brag post for my wonderful gift. It is now the best, most expensive gun in my small collection. -dimwit- _________________ So much to do and So little help... |
