Springfield has finally come out with something I’ve wanted for quite some time. They are now importing the HS Produkt VHS as the Hellion rifle. Fully ambi, easy to convert from right to left hand ejection and yes, it has a collapsible buttstock!
Fugly. Made of eyesores. Heavy. 8 Lbs. vs. 6.7 Lbs. of RDB17 and RBD Defender and 5.8 Lbs. of RDB Survival; the last two also have collapsible stocks and shorter AOL. Moreover, you don’t have to gut RDB to switch the ejection port, bolt release in RDB located more appropriately and I assume that cleaning chamber in Hellion will be PITA. Also, the cost of Hellion is twice as much.

Putting together knife orders for Christmas and came across these at one of my distributors, they only have black ATM
Look like they will fit and other NATO rifle with a mount. $300 is pretty steep for a bayonet though

When Springfield released their two new long-barreled Hellions, they posted on their own blog a review of these rifles. In that review, the writer mentioned and showed pictures of a Hellion bayonet for the 20″ barreled Springfield Hellion. Well, it is available now.
