M1 Garand events in WA?

I know I've seen this mentioned before but my search terms came up empty. Are there any ranges/clubs that hold m1 events, and what's required to attend? I seam to remember 200 rnds were required.

Marysville Rifle Club has a CMP program

Numerous clubs throughout the state host Garand matches (and matches that aren't Garand specific, but where you can shoot one). The 2022 calendar will eventually be posted (link below), or look for schedules on each specific range/club web site.

Hmmm. I looked over the calendar through 2023 and didn't see the event listed, either. However, whoever makes the calendar does so in a format which truncates some of the information, so it may still be listed.
I suspect Covid has fracked up many of the programs and staffing. At the bottom of the MRC cmp page was a name and email CMP/DCM discipline chair: Curt / joeflaps@msn.com. So I sent him a message. The next closest events I see listed on the cmp site is for the Wildlife Committee of Washington in Bothell is doing five events. _________________ You can only run for so long, and if you do you'll still be surrounded and out numbered so hold the line. |

So Marysville Rifle Club updated there calander to now show the cmp garand matchs and the service rifle match which is for bolt actions only. So if you're looking for something other than football to do this sunday its the service rifle shoot. I'm thinking of taking the mosin since it qualifies.

Kenmore has some different CMP matches at 100 and 200. The guy who organizes them stopped me to talk about it the last time I had my M1 out. It would be worth reviewing their calendar.
