Anyone know their firearm and body armor rules? And does anyone know if their employees qualify for the Glock blue program.

I worked for Garda 10+ years ago, I carried my own gun or you could borrow a beat to hell 686, we didn't wear armor unless we wanted to and paid out of pocket for it. I do believe all the armored truck companies are the same way as far as guns go. After I left a couple guys said that the company was making them all wear armor, company supplied an option as well. Personally I tried wearing the armor one day and managed to get through 15 or so stops before i ditched it. There was no way in hell I was wearing it when I was doing 115 stops and running through traffic. I called a blue label dealer and they said state armed guard card does qualify, now if there's any hoops you have to jump through I'm not sure

Thanks for bringing this up. I had no idea veterans are qualified to buy Glocks from blue dealers. I just checked a few places after using IDME. Wow thats a lot cheaper then normal.

Only catch for Veterans is the purchase needs to be local/in-person.

Springfield Armory has a similar program. Works for state licensed security and veterans with DD-214.

Proven Arms has all sorts of "blue label" guns not just Glocks. I got a Tavor through them. You can do it online and have it shipped to the FFL of your choice. https://www.provenoutfitters.com/firearms-le/mil
