Canadians, like Texans, won't do shit about their rights being stripped away. There'll be all kinds of noise coming from that crowd followed by silence. The truckers put up a damn great occupation of Ottawa. Maybe it needs to go from 0 to 100.

One way to fight it is massive, peaceful non-compliance. Like the 99.9% who never turned in their magazines after the 2018 New Jersey magazine ban.
But what does that type of non-compliance really accomplish? So New Jersey people have high-cap mags … so what? Unless they are willing to take the ultimate step and put the mags to use, the fact that they own them doesn’t help the cause.
The people of Canada will have to decide what level of tyranny and which usurpations of their rights they are willing to live with - the same as here in WA. The number one cause of death in the 1900s was democide - the killing of citizens by their own government and this happened in countries where the citizens were unarmed. So yes, this does feel like a pivotal moment for our northern brethren. We shall see if the roots of the mighty maple tree are thirsty ere long, for the blood of patriots and tyrants. But it’s easy to say “just have a revolution” like it’s something that happens all the time and could be over and done in a moment, without effort, without pain, without loss of life. In reality, in the modern world, were a true, blue revolution along the lines of the American Revolution of the 1770’s take place in Canada today, it would likely be protracted, bloody, and the outcome far from certain. If the Canadian government does move to take guns by force, then at least it won’t be the citizens who went to violence as the first option.

This is every bit the same peril we Americans face, now. Few admit that the balloon went up when the junta succeeded. It did, and it's escalating. Normalcy bias is strong among a well fed populace.

I remember Marstar Canada being a fun online Canadian gun shop to surf. They even stocked class III and a lot of Norinco firearms that have not been imported here in ages, of course they had that dumb 10rd limit even back then.
