want to rent: go/no go/ field gauges for 7.62 x 51

I'm looking at an older rifle and would like to ensure I'm not buying something unusable. Anyone have some go / no go / field gauges I can rent?

Thanks

In south king area

Worst case, if you can only find go-gauge, you can shim that with tape on the primer surface to make it into a no-go. Not the best, but can get you by.

Also instead of a no-go you should consider a field gauge. No-go is more of a fresh out of the box dimension. Field is the maximum safe chamber length.

There are places to rent them from https://www.reamerrentals.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=87

Is this for a .308 or a 7.62 NATO chambered firearm. The dimensions are very different between the two. A lot of 7.62 chambered rifles will eat a No-Go with little to no pressure and even close on a Field gauge.

It's a 7.62 so the offer of 308 gauges will unfortunately not work :/

Checking whether the headspace in the chamber is in spec. The bolt should close on the go and should not close on the no go.
