Alright, I just picked up an X95 16" in OD (would have preferred FDE or Black, but the price was right). Anyhow, what optics do you suggest? I have a Sig Romeo 5 with a riser I can put on, but I really kinda prefer the Holographic sights (I'm working to get a Holosun 510C in red since my green ones don't work for my eyeballs). If you have a holosun on yours, what riser do you use? Seems like I have to duck my head way down to get a cheek weld.

I'm thinking of using this for a close in weapon, maybe 100 yards or less. Along with my Extar they'd be my likely vehicle options.

I may need a few more 20 round mags (not a WA resident so no worries there), but they seem to be just as expensive as the 30s, if not more.

PMags? Lancer? Palmetto? What mags do you like with it?

I've got a X95 and I've tried just about every optic under the sun on it. Currently is wearing a 4x32 Acog on a Weapons Outfitters riser. Seems to work pretty well. Just before I left the mainland I got a Primary Arms GLx 2x Prism that I put on my Hellion, that is a hell of an optic. I'd recommend checking that one out. good field of view, good magnification for the distances you're talking and decent price point.

Every mag i put into the rifle worked, even the D-60's. Only one that was difficult to insert or remove was the Brownells retro 25 straight mags
