I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and understand that the vast majority of gun owners follow the laws. The approach of public policymakers should acknowledge and respect that reality. With that in mind, I appreciate you sharing your support for the SHORT Act (H.R.9033), legislation to remove short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and certain other weapons from the definition of firearms under the National Firearms Act.
