They're huge though...although the Holosun 509t isn't too bad.

Update time.... Quick summary from the first post: I was unhappy with the Holosun HS507K battery life of 2-3 months on my carry gun, so I replaced it with the Cyelee CAT. Battery life aside for the moment, the Cyelee CAT sight worked flawlessly for the 15 months that I had it mounted. Battery life was 4-5 months, so basically double the HS507K, but that may be because the CAT just has a single dot reticle while I was using the circle+dot on the Holosun. Even with double the battery life, though, I'm still not happy with needing to replace the battery that often. The other issue with the CAT is that, unlike the Holosun, I need to remove the sight to change the battery. It's not that big of a hassle, but carrying a gun with an unzeroed sight is, well, not optimal. Today I replaced the CAT sight with the Holosun SCS Carry sight: This is a new product from Holosun. It does not have a replaceable battery; it has an internal battery that is charged by the solar panel. Supposedly a little charging here and there, and it will run forever . . . hehe. We'll see. Street price is $400, so it's not cheap. It has an enclosed emitter, and a green reticle with the usual Holosun dot, circle, or circle+dot.

That is some good, honest wear on your 365. I love it! Are you worried that a carry pistol might not see enough sunlight to keep the internal battery charged unless you leave it out intentionally to charge?

I saw some folks say, "just take it to the range once in a while and you'll be fine." I'm not convinced of that, though.

Nice. I'm jealous. Maybe you're buying better quality batteries than I am.
