Going to be on the road working throughout a large portion of Oregon these next few weeks. Any standout gun stores worth visiting?

B-Mart I heard was okay. It been a long time ago so don’t know now.

What parts of Oregon?

The better choice if you drink is to buy tax free alcohol in Oregon.

You’re probably going to be disappointed with any OR gun store at this point since the passage of initiative 114.

A wave of panic buying hit many stores followed upon by dealers not replenishing their stock because of future
uncertainty. If you follow the Oregon-centric NW Firearms board, stores are starting to announce their closures.

If you still want to goto one, check out Keith’s Sporting Goods in Beaverton. They have a large selection, although not necessarily price competitive. Bi-Mart sometimes have specials on common stuff. I like their ammo prices.

Best deals are always going to be on-line or through social connections.

Good luck.

Understood, thank you. A shame about initiative 114.

oldkim, I'll be doing a loop from Portland down to Grants Pass, over to Klamath Falls, up to Bend, then Pendleton and then back into WA via the Tri-Cities.

I'll be working in Idaho in early April. Not sure of the exact route yet. But have heard of a good hardware and gun store in Moscow. Has anyone been?

So thus far I've been able to go to all of these suggestions and a few more.

Keith’s was great. In fact, it turns out the day before I got there they had gotten in a large shipment and had some of the things I was looking for. The one I went to was in Gresham- I wasn't able to find one in Beaverton.

Oregon Rifleworks is a cool place. Not sure if it was an old bank at one time? Regardless, interesting building and a nice, spacious layout. They too had some things I was looking for. There was a police officer in the store buying some stuff when I was there. One of the employees was talking with him about initiative 114 and the officer is against it too.

Also went to Tick Licker in Salem and Emerald Valley Armory in Creswell.

Have also bought a fair amount of various ammo at a few different Bi-Marts.

Thanks for the tips!
