Put my M&P Shield up for consignment and bought a Sig P365. The overall size is about the same as my old Shield with 12 round capacity mags and reversible magazine release (lefty here). Happy as a clam with the new gun. Very sleek design. I can get my XL mitts into a full grip with the 12 round mags, nice trigger (for a striker fire gun),
Next to pick up some 124gr 9mm ammo, will start with Federal HST for reliability testing. After that to pick up an IWB holster, mag carrier and possibly a weapon light and night sights. Time for shopping around.

Have probably 1000 rounds of cheap Remington 115gr through it so far, and only failure was due to not cleaning or lubing it for 950 of those rounds. It stopped locking the slide on an empty mag until I wiped off the rails and added a drop of oil. Very accurate and, as you noted, high capacity it a tiny handgun. Now that it is broken in I'll play with different weight of self defense ammo.

I'm doing a floor for an FFL in a couple weeks and he's getting me a p365 as partial payment for the project. Cannot wait to get my own!

Thanks Sinus and Isildur. I was just comparing to my Smith 642 today. Basically about the same size with 12 round capacity vs 5. I'll still carry my trusty 642 in pocket carry but now augmented by the P365 IWB. Totally stoked about this gun. I'm going to go with the Federal HST Micro 9mm 150gr (P9HST5S) for my initial carry load testing. Just ordered a Black Arch IWB Protos-M Dri-Matrix holster: https://www.blackarchholsters.com/colle ... s/protos-mAlso ordered a NeoMag mag carrier for pocket carry: https://theneomag.com/shop-neomag/Looking forward to the next range trip to put this little puppy through its paces.

Found a revolver that I, uh, "needed." Went to do the transfer at Brad's new store ( ), and walked out with a new Ruger PC Carbine as well. Tough day. That's the new-to-me revolver, a Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum with 10.5" barrel. Shown next to my 6" Ruger GP100 .357 for comparison. The three cartridges, top-to-bottom: Underwood .500 S&W 350-grain XTP My reloaded .357 Magnum 158-grain Underwood .500 S&W 700-grain Lead Really Fucking Flat Nose

Buds gunshop found and put up the last batch of their contracted PTR 93 rifles and I scored one. These are built from Malaysian HK33 machine gun parts with a new US 1-9 twist nitrided barrel. $600 with Buds lifetime warranty backed up by PTR limited lifetime warranty. A few hours later totally out of stock again. A lot of guys are gonna be bummed when they find out about this tommorrow AM Like this. I already have a bunch of mags and an HK 4x Fero scope w mount for it
