I ordered a blemished 1-6X Primary Arms scope from Primary Arms, as well as their Primary Arms Deluxe Extended AR15 Scope Mount. The package from Primary Arms arrived today and I was excited to get it put on my rifle thinking I might be able to take some time off work tomorrow and take it to the range, only to open the box and find out that the scope mount is missing.

Sent Primary Arms an e-mail. I'm sure they'll take care of it, just always seems to be my luck.

Posted the above on 2/24. I sent Primary Arms another e-mail today, as I am still waiting on a resolution for this. In the meantime I have my fancy 1-6X scope just sitting forlornly on the table anxiously awaiting a scope mount.

What is the job?

100-200 yard suburban post catastrophe guarding. CQB more punch than 5.56.

Yeah....think I'd just have both.
Stocking up on 6.8 costs more than .308
6.8 weighs less.
6.8 still lethal at 400yds
.308 hurts well beyond 400yds.
A head shot is a head shot.

Embarked on a project sure to arise both ire and confusion from our dear Black Hammer...

Picking up a scope late this afternoon from a local member, and took this boss picture.

Packed the range bag for all day pistol training class tomorrow (taking my revolver). First time at this training venue.. It's been awhile since I've done an all day training and looking forward to it. Tomorrow morning need to make some sammiches and coffee then hit the road at 6:00 am to make it to the range by 7:30.

Purchased a sweet Glock 20 10mm from fellow member, waglocker. (it's in NICS jail, unfortunately. I seem to get delayed for every firearms purchase lately, despite my valid CPL).

Got all the equipment and supplies needed to reload 10mm and bought some factory-loaded 10mm hollow point ammo.

bought a Kydex holster for said Glock 20, fitted with a StreamLight TLR-1 and a matching dual mag carrier

Disassembled my G19. Took the trigger module out. Got out some round files and some sandpaper (100 and 400)

Ground down the texture on the INSIDE of the trigger guard with the files and then finished it off with the paper... down to glassy smooth. (Also eased/rounded the squared off edges)

Not a perfect color match, but close enough to my 700 to consider them sister rifles.

1000 rounds of 10mm fell into my shopping cart. My credit card was able to enter its own number by itself. I was helpless.
