Fondled all my AR’s along with a wipe down and a function check.
Made more food for them hungry EBR’s…

Bought an estate sale today with a bunch of Springfield 03 and a3_03 parts, a Oehler 35P chronograph and a Labradar.

No guns just misc parts and reloading stuff.

We didn't put a ton of rounds through it, just a few mags. First impressions:

- I like the feel of the gun.
- I go back and forth on the trigger. One minute I think it's decent, the next I think it's gritty and gross. It'll probably smooth out a little and be fine, but it's nothing special.
- I do like not having the "blade" safety in the trigger. It's more comfortable on the finger.
- No function issues, it shot just fine. I did clean it before I took it out.
- It seems to be shooting high . . . like maybe 4" at least, at 10 yards. I need to go confirm this again, without the chaos of Ladies Day around me, but I may be buying some replacement sights for it.

Overall, I'm very happy with this $300 gun, with the (yet to be confirmed) exception of not shooting to point of aim.

That’s surely a lot better than the $300-350 range they been going for for years.

I picked up a Romeo 5XDR for $150 as well, from EuroOptic.com

It all fits in a tiny shoulder bag, with 20rd mag.. and 6 - 30 rd bags.. without being too conspicuous.. although not exactly low profile, either.

There is also a lower out there with the hinged part as part of the lower.... but it's like $300... Which really isn't that much, considering a high quality lower is ~$80-100, plus $300 or so for what the adapter was going for.. Adds about 3/4" over a standard lower, vs about 1.75" over the side folding adapter... So it's actually a good deal if you're going that route..

Had some fun steel target shooting in Lubbock TX.
What I discovered was one of my pistols (S&W 39-2) was shooting waaay left of the paper target at 25 yards so I adjusted it.
The Dan Wesson 44 mag performed magnificently and completely blew off one of the small steel plates into the garden behind. LOL!
All in all it was a good day!

Thanks. How is the grip angle and grip feel, and how does it compare to others? Part of my curiosity comes from the hump of the back. Sometimes that doesn't fit well with me..
