Thanks, Steve! Yeah, it should be very comfy. Gotta get at least one more mag since it's only a 7+1, but I like it fits my wee little hand and has no sharp edges to catch on things. I'm ruing giving all my ammo away at the 2020 NY shoot though! I do have 12 hollow points, and my buddy will make some target ammo but he won't be in WA until July.

There's plenty of ammo available, including some here on WaGuns. Be prepared to pay 40+ cents per round though . . . so you can buy enough to practice with, but this probably isn't the time to stock up for the apocalypse.

Picked up first firearm of 2021 today. FK Brno PSD 7.5FK/9mm.

I didn't know the "regular" BRNOs were available; last I saw were those initial metal framed guns for $5k. I'm not bourgeoise enough for that.

$1600 is a pretty good price for a specialty handgun, though most of those are metal framed. How long until there's a 1911 or Glock in 7.5?

7.5 FK Brno Field Pistol (metal framed) are $7500 last I checked. At $5K that would be a steal for a limited production handgun, still too high for me. $1600 for a mutli-cal handgun was too good to pass up for me. I chose the 9mm because the 7.5/9mm kit comes with 4-mags and all I would need to do is buy the 10mm barrel to shoot 10mm/.40S&W. Whereas if you bought the 7.5/10mm kit all you get is two mags and if you wanted to shoot 9mm you'd have to buy mags, barrel, and recoil spring.

Now to find a 10mm barrel. I wouldn't mind having a 9x25 Dillon barrel for this as well.

FYI - 7.5 FK conversion for 1911 or Glock is not possible due to the addtional 3.2mm OAL of the cartridge being to long for both. I'll test this to confirm.

...Until somebody makes a larger frame. I doubt it would be profitable, but it's been done before. Think LAR Grizzly. The 1911 platform would be the one to do. It would be more expensive, but you'd have instant interest, especially if you can make conversion kits like FK did.

I went out in public to....a gun shop. Stood in line even. Only to find out the gun that they still have published as being in stock was not in stock.

Deprimed a bunch of 300 win mag.
Put some in the ultrasonic, some in the new wet rotary tumbler with ss pins.
Same cleaner solution in both.
See what it all looks like tomorrow
