My willpower has stayed strong until today, but I finally received one too many "big-bore bundle" emails from Primary Arms. :cussing:

So now I have this package, with barrel, upper, BCG and a gas block headed my way:
http://www.primaryarms.com/radical-fire ... -cm-barrel

So what made me break this time? Well, past deals have either not listed the thread pitch at the muzzle, or have been some weird thread. This one isn't too much different, haha, with a 5/8x32 muzzle thread . . . but I was able to find an ASR muzzle brake, and for a good deal too:
https://grabagun.com/silencerco-hybrid- ... 6-dia.html

There were two left when I looked. Now there's only one left.

I already have a .50 Beowulf AR-15, but not suppressor that will work on it. I do have a Silencero Hybrid suppressor, and now I'll be able to use that for .458 Socom.

Next stop . . . reloading supplies. That's gonna hurt, lol.

Oh . . . and when I placed the order, I put my money where my mouth is and paid $3 more to ship UPS instead of FedEx.

Fuck FedEx.

"Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm -- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves." – T.S. Eliot

"The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction." - St. George Tucker

A careful definition of words would destroy half the agenda of the political left and scrutinizing evidence would destroy the other half. - Thomas Sowell

"To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the innocent and law-abiding that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the guilty and the lawless, and that the law will permit them to have only such rights and liberties as the lawless will allow...

For society does not control crime, ever, by forcing the law-abiding to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of criminals. Society controls crime by forcing the criminals to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of the law-abiding." - Jeff Snyder

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

I'm sure you guys have your horror stories but FedEx has been way more reliable for us than UPS. USPS has been better than both of them though.

Don't see either of them much now that Amazon is running its own local delivery fleet.

^Truth. Those assholes always leave my packages on my front doorstep, in the rain, and in plain sight of all passersby on the sidewalk. At least UPS and FedEx leave the packages on the side porch further down the driveway, and sometimes even hide it with the doormat or my recycle bin. OnTrac drives me nuts.

Agreed. I feel like UPS and FedEx are professional delivery services, and OnTrac is just an amateur wannabe that's cheap and quick.

We stopped Ontrac from delivering to my facility. Their drivers were just sliding packages on our dock and scribbling random letters on their delivery pad saying someone signed for it.

When a $8k box went missing, we checked tracking, saw initials D.R signed for it, but I have nobody on the dock, admin or the warehouse with those initials.

I have a lock box on my porch with a sign saying to put packages in the box, and lock it. Most of the time they just set the package on top of the box. Fedex/UPS/USPS all suck. Packages get left at 7566 instead of 7533. Fortunately they they are honest, and bring the packages to us.

Ontrac sucks big time. Last couple packages from amazon were shipped via ontrac. One looked like an elephant stepped on it and was soaked. We have a covered porch and I got the package within a minute of it being delivered.Item inside was fine fortunately.
