Isn't painting ammunition redundant? yeah no one has ever used an ammo can for something other than ammo http://tincanbandit.blogspot.com/2014/0 ... -cans.html

I have one I use for a lunch box. Most of my ammo cans that have ammo are in a certain place. They are labeled "Box 1-X". So I have an excel spread sheet to keep track of how much ammo I have.

Actually this was yesterday but I Qualified at 600 yards with my AR 15 To qualify ya gotta hit one out of 3 shots but I went 5 for 5. Funny thing is after the 4th shot the guy said "You easily qualified" so I dropped the mag and quickly fired... I still managed to hit the 5th He was surprised that I used 69 gr instead of 77. I'll load up some and try them next time

More rimfire follies at the Banzai ranch. Got her that Rascal, blue is her favorite color. Seems better made and easier to use than the Cricket. We'll work on that good shoulder contact in the near future. In other news, those CCI Quiet 22s are hearing safe from a rifle, though a touch loud from a revolver. For some reason the CCIs are cheaper than Aguila Super Colibris (which have a lighter bullet and less powder).

Yeah, the Savage Rascal seems to be a great rifle.

By the way, while I selfishly enjoyed HK's pic for its cuteness, and will enjoy showing it to my wife, let it be said that I give props to HK for raising a young lady who can confidently handle herself.
She may never be a 'gun person', but teaching her to handle them with confidence is a a real blessing, one that may not be seen for years.
Kudos!

I had a 7" Barrel complete AR upper arrive, picked up a Spikes Tactical Crusader Lower from Pantels and then threw an SB Tactical PDW brace all in the same box with an LPK. I expect to open the Box tomorrow and find a complete Pistol. You know how Guns are, they do all kinds of Crazy Shit on their own.
I didn't dare put a Magazine and a box of Ammo in there with them, i don't want to get Shot.

Kudos! Well, she is trying to work her way up to deer hunting with Daddy and his pals. Even a youth rifle is too much for her yet. Probably two years out, maybe three, but she'll get there. And yes, it's about being self-determinant. Plus other things. One day she'll figure out (perhaps with my help dispensing such wisdom) that young men afraid of women that can handle weapons and shoot straight are not the sort she should associate with. They're insecure and will fail under pressure...and all relationships run into pressure now and again. See...shooting is way more than just hitting a target!

Making sure Daddy's little Girls are safe and confident in their abilities is priceless.

Recently ordered a Vortex Venom 6 MOA red dot from Midway. Scheduled to be here on Tuesday. Planning to mount it on a Browning Buckmark pistol for use in local Steel Challenge matches. Looking forward to it.

I purchased 10 Brownells aluminum AR magazines and very quickly realized that the followers on them tilt like hell. I had always been a Magpul guy up until now so I’ve never seen those green GI ones before. I swapped out the followers with the Magpul self leveling followers with the help of this video https://youtu.be/QWgagwUWYsYp
